Maisu

1) Who we are
MaiSU is a browser extension by Lornets Ltd that helps users save, organise, and reuse AI conversations and prompts. For UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Lornets Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through MaiSU and our website.

2) What data we process 2.1 Data you provide • User content you choose to save: chat text, prompts, tags, titles, folder names, and notes/metadata you enter. • Account data (optional): email address and authentication/session identifiers only if you sign in for sync across devices. • Support communications: emails or messages you send us. 2.2 Data collected automatically (optional) • Diagnostics/crash logs (optional): error codes and minimal technical metadata to improve reliability. You can disable diagnostics where settings allow. • Website analytics (if enabled on lornets.com): non-identifying usage metrics (e.g., page views). We do not combine analytics with extension content. 2.3 Website data access (in the browser) MaiSU reads page content only when you invoke a capture action (for example, a button or shortcut) or where you have granted host permissions. We do not collect general browsing history. If you do not interact, MaiSU does not read page content. 3) Lawful bases (UK GDPR, Art. 6) • Performance of a contract: deliver core features you request (save, organise, search, export, sync on sign-in). • Legitimate interests: maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability (balanced against your rights). • Consent: for optional features like diagnostics or notifications where required. You can withdraw consent at any time in settings or by contacting us. • Legal obligation: compliance with law and enforcement of our terms. 4) How we use the data • Provide and operate MaiSU features (capture, foldering, search, copy/export, optional sync). • Provide customer support and service communications. • Improve reliability and safety (e.g., debugging, preventing abuse). We do not use data for targeted advertising and we do not sell personal data. We comply with Chrome Web Store User Data policies, including Limited Use: data is used only to provide user-facing features; no unrelated purposes; and limited human access (only with your consent, for security, or where legally required). 5) Sharing and processors We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data to: • Service providers/processors (e.g., hosting, databases, error reporting) under contracts that restrict processing to our instructions. • Legal/safety recipients to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights/safety. • Business transfer recipients (e.g., reorganisation), subject to equivalent protections. 6) Storage, location, and retention • Local mode: your saved items remain in your browser storage until you delete them. • Sync mode (if enabled): content is stored on our servers and retained until you delete items or close your account. Routine backups have limited lifetimes and are purged on a rolling schedule (typically 30–90 days). • International transfers: data may be stored in the UK or other jurisdictions with appropriate safeguards, including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). All transfers use HTTPS; server data is encrypted at rest. We implement technical and organisational measures proportionate to risk. 7) Your rights (UK) Subject to conditions and law, you can access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port your personal data. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise rights, contact anas@lornets.com . You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ 8) Children MaiSU is not intended for children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. 9) Data we do not process • No targeted advertising. • No sale of personal information. • No execution of remote code from third-party sources in the extension. • No bulk collection of browsing history. 10) Permissions and why we request them • activeTab — act on the current tab only after you click/invoke a command, to capture content you select. • scripting — inject a short capture script on the active page after your action. • storage — store settings and saved-item metadata. • downloads (optional) — export your saved items when you choose. • notifications (optional) — optional reminders/confirmations you enable. • clipboardRead / clipboardWrite (optional) — paste/import prompts or copy text when you click “Copy”. • cookies (optional, if you sign in) — maintain your session on our domain for sync. • Host permissions (limited) — only for sites where you capture content (e.g., AI chat providers); never for general tracking. 11) How to delete your data • In MaiSU: delete items from folders (export first if you want a copy). • Account deletion (if signed in): email anas@lornets.com ; we will confirm and delete sync data (subject to legal retention). • Local mode: remove the extension or clear extension storage in your browser. 12) Changes to this policy We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the “Effective date” and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes (for example, via the listing or our website). Continued use after changes indicates acceptance. © Lornets Ltd. All rights reserved.
